Phantom Spires

High above to the North, hidden from Highway 50, sits the lonely Phantom Spires, and many surrounding rocks.
Amid a barren rock field you will find many traditional routes, along with some more difficult sport and mixed routes in an excellent, yet unsheltered setting.

Access: HWY 50, Take the exit for Wright’s Lake. Turn off left at the dirt road about 2.5 miles from the highway (not recommended for 2WD). Hike in from dirt parking lot.

Parking: Dirt parking area, or park on Wright’s Lake Rd. and walk in.

Facilities: Primitive Camping around the lot, no facilities or water. Please pack everything out.

Food & Drink: Pack it all in and out. Hang your bags high to be safe. No facilities or water once you leave the highway.
