Lover’s Fest Party & Fundraiser!

Kickoff the 2026 trail work season at Lover’s Leap and help raise funds for trailwork, stewardship, policy and advocacy work.
With help from the Bay Area Climbers’ Coalition & Tahoe Climbing Coalition, Blue Granite Climbing Gym, Tahoe Gear Exchange, Women’s Lead Club, our national partners at The Access Fund and American Alpine Club and many other partner organizations, local climbing gyms and both climbing industry & local sponsors.
Lover’s Fest is our grassroots, local, self-produced annual event.
We do it a little differently every year but every time we have a great party! It’s last minute but join us this Saturday!
It’s like Burger Night but bigger better faster and more!
As part of our ongoing multi-year project to stabilize and improve the trail infrastructure at the three principal climbing areas in the Highway 50 corridor – Sugarloaf, Phantom Spires and Lover’s Leap – CRAGS is working over several weeks this summer at Lover’s Leap. We’ll be working on the Lower Buttress and Main Wall approach trails, completing work on the landing platforms and staircases below The Groove and The Farce and then continuing up the Main Wall approach trail with some rerouting, platform and step building at some other key locations. We’ll also be hitting some spots at the East Wall and Hogsback this season. We’ll have a mix of lighter and heavier work; some brush trimming/clearing; some rock work; some tool use and some fun!
For the second year the BACC is stepping up to partner and help fund our ongoing work! Thanks Bay Area!
